I promised to eventually post up pictures of my senior fall collection when I finished so here they are! Our class theme was "Sustainability through Textile Traditions" so I interpreted sustainability as a style that remains the same. Therefore I chose to base my collection on traditional Japanese styles (i.e. kimono) but modernizing them and also use different embellishment techniques. For my embellishments, I used hand painting on fabrics, beading, and appliquing. I titled my collection 'Japanotion' and I made 3 ensembles for my fashion show in May. Hope you like them!

3 more weeks until classes are done... I feel like that's still so far away! My friends at other schools are all prepping for their finals now and it's making me so jealous because that means their summer comes so much faster. I am just so anxious for summer to be here and the sad thing is that this semester has been my easiest semester since frosh year. Next fall is going to be the death of me. I have to take my collections class then which means I make a whole line (probably about 5 gowns) which means I'll have NO free time whatsoever. I should be appreciating my semester now but I can't...

Actually, to be honest, I think I'm really just anxious for my 21st birthday which is on the very last day of class.

I'm leaving for London on thursday! I am so so so so excited.

This semester has been so easy so far. I NEVER have homework and it's wonderful. But then I spend the rest of my day reading magazines and watching trashy tv shows. I guess it's a nice break after having a brutal fall semester.

I went skiing this past weekend in the Pocono's. I haven't gone skiing since the beginning of high school so I was quite nervous. It was snowing the morning we went and I didn't have ski goggles so my first run down was horrible. I couldn't even open my eyes because they were frozen shut from the snow! I ended up having to buy goggles at the ski shop and now I feel obligated to go again just so I can use the stupid goggles again.

My friends from Dartmouth are visiting this weekend! I am so excited. I haven't had real visitors visit me since sophomore year. We're going to go to Baltimore during the day of saturday. Has anyone ever been to the aquarium there? My roommate Lauren really wants to go because apparently there are dolphin calves there. We're going to a Matt Nathanson concert on saturday night. My friends and I lined up to get tickets the morning they started selling them so we got really good seats! I'm excited
